Seems there was a glitch with the formatting for the Kindle version of the book. While all the words appeared to be there (thank God for that, right?) All of the quotation marks around the character dialogue is not there… Nothing.
Not a single one.
While my publisher has worked frantically to upload new files, we still don't know the cause of the glitch. Honestly, at this point I don't really care. What I DO care about is the enjoyable experience that some readers may have missed due to this unfortunate error.
My sole purpose in writing, other than the fact that I really, REALLY, enjoy it; is that it is an incredible ride to an incredible story and experience that has been shared by many reviewers and readers from the first book. Not to be biased, but I suppose that I am… I think this book is just as good, if not better than the first one. It's really hard for me to back up that boasting, when the reader has to do more work than it's worth to figure out what character is saying what to another character.
Nobody wants to put up with that. As a reader myself, I enjoy a good book, but if it's too hard for me to understand the plot and what the characters are saying, I'm usually turned off and want to put it down. But as an author, it is inexcusable, regardless of the reason why, to present what could be great reading in such a shoddy format.
From the bottom of my heart, please accept my apologies.
Please know, that I am working with the publisher to correct this formatting error as quickly as possible. For those loyal fans that have already bought a copy for their Kindle enabled device, once these changes have taken place, a synchronized copy with the adjustments should download to your device automatically. If this does not happen, please drop me a line and let me know. We, the publisher and myself, are working with Amazon Digital Services to correct this ASAP.
As an author, I am asking for your patience and understanding to table your judgment of this book until the formatting issues and edits have been addressed. I would expect this to happen within 48 to 72 hours. I know some of my readers have waited a long time for the sophomore book of this series. I'm sorry to have to ask you to wait just a little bit longer for a copy that will give you the experience and enjoyment that I hope will be worth it.
